The property has stunning views towards the Andes and is nestled in the valley surrounding the beautiful towns of Santa Cruz and Chepica. The area is enjoying a tourism boom, which is only just beginning, and land values will continue to increase in the area.

Santa Cruz is a beautiful, quiet agricultural town with a nascent tourism industry with massive potential. It is similar to Sonoma in Napa Valley, California, just with a little less glitz. The landscape around is also strikingly similar to Napa Valley. New restaurants are opening and boutique country hotels are also being established by both Chilean and foreign investors. Over the next few years, it is highly likely that Santa Cruz will boom and land values will increase dramatically. Santa Cruz is just 2 and a quarter hours from Santiago by perfectly maintained motorways and country roads. The town has a new hospital, a large Lider supermarket and is considered one of the safest places to live in the region. Many of Chile’s finest red wines come from the area, including Wine Spectator’s wine of the year for 2008, the Clos Apalta.
